Here Comes the BOOM!!!

Feast your eyes on one of the best video-clips to come off the net!!!!

The song itself..."Here Comes the Boom" is almost as old as I am. The first time I remember hearing it was when both myself and the illustrious "El Mágico" Nuno Mourão were team mates in the Portuguese Selection 7s team playing in the 1997 Rugby 7s World Cup in Hong Kong.

There was a particular section of the stadium, which was packed every day (45000 people), who would sing this song every time the All Blacks ran on for their games. Fantastic!!!

The video shows some great examples of how to hit hard, and a few of how NOT to!!!! A good referee would probably penalize a lot of these tackles. There is one in particular which I love...it's in Lousada, Portugal. You have to watch carefully because it happens so fast!!!

This Sunday we want all our supporters to start singing "HERE COMES THE BOOM!" every time Évora get the ball and Faustino starts pointing his finger at his opposite number.
